GIFT Science

My name is Mrs Smith and I am the Science HLTA working with the ‘Grade Improvement for Tomorrow’ team.  My role is to work with small groups of pupils, covering topics that have been looked at online or in class and answering questions to help with greater understanding of each topic. We work together to improve your learning.

I have always had a love of Science having worked within a primary school as a Year 6 class teacher and completing a Science degree. I take great pleasure in passing on my knowledge and understanding to the pupils I work with.  I try to make my sessions fun and as interactive as possible, with lots of discussion.  For example, this year in school, we made models of cells and put them on the display board for everyone to see.
